This dramatic hat is from the 1950s. Decorated with multiple ostrich feathers, and a hand made net that surrounds the face, and drapes down the neck, this hat is not for the subtle dresser. More of a costume piece than an everyday item, this hat would fit in at a themed New Years Eve party, or any such fancy dress gathering. With a bouffant style top, this hat is also tall!

This hat is in great shape, no missing feathers. The netting around the face and neck is very delicate, and requires finesse when being handled.

No makers mark, but expertly constructed by an obviously seasoned milliner.
