This is an adorable 1950’s dress with great detail. The dress features short-cuffed sleeves; 10” in length; a 7” zipper in the back and a side zipper. The color is a dark navy, almost black. The left upper sleeve has a slightly lighter color but not noticeable and does not show in a photo. The front detail is unique (see photo); nipped waist and full skirt with belt loops. The fabric appears to be cotton or a cotton blend but the dress does not have a label to indicate the fabric content. This dress would look even more adorable with a color contrast slip for a pop of color.
