This was certainly Miss Erma Alexander's prized possession. Not only did she spring for the fancy gold polka dot lining but proudly had her name embroidered inside! It's a true classic and has been very well cared for.
Beautiful textured black Astrakhan wool shell, Thick and shiny natural fur trim, Black velveteen lined pockets, Bracelet length bell sleeves, and original hook & eye closures. Fur Label Authority tag still attached! A gorgeous and authentic piece of American Fashion history.

Material: Inky black Persian lamb's wool shell and natural fur collar - very heavy/ very warm

Condition: Excellent overall with one area of worn wool on the sleeve cuff. If I were to keep this coat, I'd treat this spot with black leather paint to disguise the light-colored material underneath.
