1950s Crimson Red Velveteen Rhinestone Burlesque Bloomers with Black Fringe - 1950s Burlesque Costume - 1950s Showgirl Costume | Size Small

All original 1950s custom construction, these performance costume bottoms are done in a soft bold crimson red cotton velveteen, unlined with cotton backing. The bloomers feature prongset clear rhinestones all around the hips with black fringe around the lower hips. Construction features an ultra high, nipped waist a bit of elastic at the legs for a comfort fit, and a rear central metal zipper with hook and eye closures.

Condition is listed as good plus to very good. Structurally sound and 100% wearable. There are some general signs of age and wear. The elastic in the legs is a bit slack, this is not noticeable and does not deter from presentation. I note two missing rhinestones at the back, unseen without very close inspection. There are a few faint marks on the waistband where the rhinestones have left subtle impressions from decades of improper storage. Overall presentation is fabulous!

Please note the waist band is intended to fit up to or nearly to the underbust, please review all provided measurements. Also note that there is no gap in the closure at the waist as seen in the provided photos, I was unable to fully secure all fasteners on my mannequin.
