DETAILS: This vintage 1950s lace special occasion dress is so pretty and feminine, and in a rare extra large size. The bodice has lots of interesting details, with the central panel of shirred lace creating the illusion of a strapless banded top. The fold shawl collar and see through upper bodice and sleeves suggest a lace over jacket. A crystal pleated fan of taffeta edged lace on the left adds an extra little flourish, and would be an excellent place to add a special brooch or corsage. The skirt is flared and a little swingy. The dress is shown with a white leather belt from my closet to help display fit - it is not included with purchase.
