Vintage 50s Blue Dress with Matching Bolero Jacket - Union made in USA
Sleeveless dress with zipper on back. Unlined short bolero jacket. No material is named -thin/non-stretchy material - I would guess linen.
Vintage size 10 fits more like modern XS or XXS - See measurements for fit. Measurements for bust/waist/hips are taken flat and doubled:
Dress measurements: 31" bust, 25" waist, 33" hip, 38" long. Model is 5'8" XS and the dress fit tightly. 3 1/2 inches turned up at hem.
Jacket measurements: 34" bust, 28" around at bottom, 12. 5" long, 15" shoulders, 16" sleeve.
Dress will need to be steamed after mailing as linen holds fold lines.
Flaws - there are some light stains on the side hem and one small spot on the side bodice, the band that has the bow on it. See closeup photos. Hem stitching is more visible then I like. Inside seams are not finished (raw) so there is some light fraying to inner seams.
