Stunning royal blue formal/prom/cocktail dress! Perfect 1950's silhouette. Dance the night away in this gorgeous fit and flare beauty!

This garment is in VERY GOOD to EXCELLENT vintage condition!!! There are a few small holes - they look like burn holes (?), I pointed one out with an arrow in the photo. They are maybe as big as a small pin head... really not noticeable at all. There are a couple on the back shoulder, and one under the bust.

There is a tear of about 1" on the bottom front of the skirt - see photo. And a couple small stains under the bust. None of these are major issues, and they do not affect the wearability of the dress in any way. I did NOT launder the dress, so it is possible the stains will come out.

Photos show the dress with and without a petticoat. Looks beautiful either way!

Dress appears to be handmade - there are no tags, and you can see some of the stitching is a little uneven. The tailoring is very well done, however.

I can't be 100% sure of the fabric, since there is no tag, but it feels to be taffeta. It is shiny, and has NO stretch. There is a purple lining, either taffeta or polyester.
