Vintage 50s Blue Sleeveless Party Dress with Bolero
This dress is super flattering with its fitted waist and full flared skirt. Metal zipper on back. Material has some weight to it. No stretch.
Vintage size 15 fits smaller by today's standards. Please check the measurements carefully to ensure proper fit:
Bust 35" / Waist 28" MAX with no give / Free Hips /Bodice 16"/ Length 43" with half inch seam allowance/Bolero is short at 12" long - Model is 5'1" mannequin is 5'8".
Condition: I washed the bolero and I think it may have shrunk down one size (as shown) and the color is not as saturated now as the dress. The black trim very faintly bled on to the collar. The shoulders are more faded than rest of bolero (from being on hanger over the decades). Faint yellow mark on shoulder. The dress is in nice condition with a few faint yellow stains (directly on shoulders, these are from foam hanger deteriorating over decades) and around hem area.
