Vintage 50s zip front abstract floral print day dress.

Lightweight semi sheer cotton voile fabric with an overall abstract floral print in shades of blue and black accented with white and green as pictured.

The bodice features diagonal front darts and vertical back darts for a flattering fit. Defined waist and flaring below the knee length skirt.

The front is embellished with two small self-fabric and white bows with pleats underneath as pictured.

Zips down the center front from the neckline to below the waist with a 17" long metal zipper.

Right and left front hip level patch pockets.

Unlined - this will probably need to be worn with a slip. No belt.

DESIGNER LABEL: No labels - this appears to be handmade by a skilled seamstress.

CONDITION: Excellent with no odors, discoloration, stains, fading, snags, pulls, holes, or runs. The only thing is some paint loss to the front metal zipper pull.

Freshly cleaned and ready to wear.

SIZING: There are no size tags. Based on the measurements below, this dress will best fit a modern size Medium to Large depending on how you like your fit.

Shoulders: 15-1/2" Across

Outer Sleeves: 8-1/4"

Inner Sleeves: 2-1/4"

Bust: 38" - Underarm to Underarm

Waist: 33"

Hips: 49"

Bodice Length: 15-1/2" - Top of Shoulder to Waist Seam

Skirt Length: 27" - Waist Seam to Bottom Hem (there is a 3" turned under hem in case you need it)

Bottom Sweep: 38" Around
