Ready for a cheap thrill? This women's early 1950s vintage black taffeta sheath dress is a large size AND it has pockets. Little black dress, mid length but originally much longer! Black (probably acetate) taffeta cocktail sheath / evening party dress with a lot going for it even though it's not perfect. Sleeveless, with raised (trapunto) swirls all over, front and back. Made by "Polly Brief" (label was put in upside down!). Scoop neck, back slit and POCKETS on both sides! Was shortened for sure, to keep up with raising hemlines. No belt loops, belt shown not included. Side metal zipper. To avoid "iron shine", always iron it inside out. CONDITION: It's wearable, but you'll need a black slip under it. Tiny storage holes in side of the bodice, check the 2 close-up photos one with black slip under and one without. There are some small holes down by the kick pleat in back which are shown in last photo. The swirls are sewn on and some may be coming loose. Thus, the lower price
