I probably sourced this coat back in Buffalo, where I did most of my thrifting in the 80's. I love swing coats, bought many, and only saved a few. I always loved this coat because of the bright red novelty print of needles, thread, and scissors. Two pockets make it useful, and even though there is no closure, a hook and eye can be easily added. No wear on collar, cuffs, etc. A few minor flaws...a feint spot on the lining that may come out with treatment or dry cleaning, about 2" x 1/2 ". Also, for some reason the lining hangs below the coat hem, so that needs adjusting ...or not! You may like a flash of red! The sleeves are slightly batwing-ish, and the cuffs are narrow. The beautiful tailoring can be evidenced along the back and shoulders where raised piping MAKE A COMPLETE HALF CIRCLE when arms are outstretched. See close up. measurements:
