Live out your Esther Williams water-woman fantasies in this 1950's Cole of Cali bathing suit...
This one-piece suit features a halter-style neckline w/adjustable (three button-hole) neck strap. The shelved style bust has two layers: the main outer layer, plus, a fun striped fabric underlay with elasticized top banding. Hidden inside each side seam are 2 lightweight boning stays. The center front and sides feature a ruching or gathered fabric detail, while the lower cut back is fully smocked with elastic for stretch and comfort. Please note: there are no zippers, or openings -you will have to shimmy in and out of this suit. Label reads 'Cole of California Original, size L'. The overall condition is excellent to very good, with some overall wear and one flaw to note; there are some areas of light fading to color (I do believe this suit was dyed black at some point), the elastic at the chest/neckline has slightly lost its elasticity, & a few stitches have come undone at the back smocking. Please see photographs for full details.
