Professional construction from the Original Roberta Bernays label . The hat is fashioned from a black semi-lustrous taffeta, featuring a smooth round low profile crown and tiers of pleating that radiate out front the crown. The hat is styled as a platter or cartwheel sun hat with an intended fit as shown, at the top/back crown of the head with the brim to shade or frame the face. There is a skull cap at the fit and the original elastic security strap that can be worn under the hair or at the back of the head to help secure an enduring fit.

Condition is listed as good plus with two very minor tatters noted to the top crown, near the front outer edge and one near the rear. These do not present when the hat is worn and you will find the notations reflected in the price. No other issues to note, the hat presents beautifully!
