A 50s Catalina Swim suit! This adorable piece is made of soft black cotton with an orange and red pattern. There is boning to the bodice. Metal zipper up the back and adjustable button straps. The swim dress is a skirt with attached bloomers underneath. Label is Catalina. Best fits a modern Large. Model is modern size 4/6 for reference.

Bust: 36 to 40 inches (elastic at sides/ back).

Waist: 32/34 inches

Hips: 46 inches

Length with straps: 31 inches

Good Vintage Condition - The piece presents beautifully and is certainly still wearable. There is some overall color fade and wear to the piece, a few minor pin holes where it looks like it was taken in (and then out again) at some point. The button holes may need some reinforcement eventually as you can see from the photo they do have minor wear. The elastic at the legs and the metal zipper appear to be in great shape!! Priced accordingly for condition.
