1950's black linen fabric platter hat. Downward curving brim has a foldup of fabric on the edges. Crown is almost flat with a trim of off-white lace and 3 velvet bows.

Underneath is a wired placement cap for security. The wired edges are covered in velvet.

The only condition issue is the lace which probably was a true white at one time. Color has darkened to an even all over ivory.

Inner circumference varies due to the adjustable wiring, approximately 20 - 22 inches. Brim extends 4 1/2 inches in the front, 3 1/2 on each side and 1 1/2 inches in the back.
