50s Black And White Gingham Dress With Jacket$98.00
Fabricated in a black and white gingham with black net insets
Comes with matching cropped jacket
The jacket features a collar notched at center back, short sleeves with turned back cuffs and small shoulder pads. No fasteners, meant to be worn open. Piecing detail along front opening with decorative mother of pearl button on faux pocket.
Dress Bodice fitted with bust darts in front and waist darts in back.
Straps and upper part of bodice with net insets.
Seamed at the waist
Pleats at front hip of skirt in pocket facings and princess seams in back
Inverted pleat at center front
Fastens with a metal zipper down side seam (I can not make out the maker)
Interior seams are pinked.
2 1/4” blind hem
Maker: Unknown. Possibly home sewn as I see no trace of a label, but well made.
Condition: Very good. with minor fade to the net trim. A few small inconspicuous repairs at the corners of the straps. Freshly soaked and line dried, arrives clean and ready to wear.
