Wow. The camera really hates some reds. This probably looks different in every photo but this is a bright red vintage cardigan or button up top in the "New Miracle Synthetic" called Ban-Lon. Since BanLon was unleashed in 1954, this red stretch knit cardigan is most likely from around 1957. The label is so old you can't see if the trademarks were registered! It's a "continuous filament yarn" with some stretch. The collar is like a band collar and it buttons all the way up. There's fluffy trim at the collar and button placket. Ban-Lon has it's lovers, even though it doesn't "breathe" much and if you hit it with a really hot iron, it melts! So either steam it or iron with cool iron. Pilling was mild and removed.
ON SALE? It could be. Private sales are done here from time to time so look for a dark pink sale banner with a discount code (percentage off) on any of my shop pages. Individual items do not show sale prices during private (non-site-wide) sales.
