Wonderful kitchen measuring scale circa the 1950s by American family Scale of Chicago IL. The company was established in 1928 and whole these scales are difficult to date due to their ubiquitous design, I have seen a 1950s Sears catalog with this exact shape in it. So I'm going with 1950s. It has a red measuring plate and the body is white. The face is white and green with black letters. It stands just over 8" tall and the base is about 6. 25" wide by 8. 25" long.

Excellent vintage condition. Typical signs of age and life like small dings and marks and some rust on the metal bits that only add to its vintage charm. The hand seems to be stuck at just below 0 so bear that in mind if you want to use it. Perhaps it could be adjusted?
