This is a gorgeous and fun yellow 50s taffeta ball gown. The gown is strapless and has a shelf-style bust that is in chiffon that is embroidered in pastel yellow flowers with a scalloped edge. Below the bust, there is the yellow taffeta and it wraps around and cinches the waist. The skirt flares out at the natural waist and is super full. It falls to the floor and in the back, there is a peekaboo with 4 rows of matching embroidered chiffon with a little bow at the waistline. The gown is fully lined in a white rayon taffeta and the bodice is fully boned. There is a tulle layer in between the two taffeta layers that give structure and volume to the skirt. There is a metal zipper up the back with a hook and eye at the top and a snap on the bow where it crosses over.

Condition:
The dress is in great condition with no flaws. The only thing I found to note is it looks like the tag was cut off. There is a pink spot on the end of the lining and it looks a lot to me like a cut-off Cotillion tag; they make formal wear. The lettering on the tag is in pink which leads me to believe that. The dress has been professionally hand laundered and is ready to wear.
