This chain necklace is an antiqued gold plated metal. The multiple, round chain links measure a 3/8 inch in diameter, making this a thick chain in the rope style. Each link has a textured and split stamping in each. The necklace length is 26 inches long. The half inch fold over clasp is original to the necklace and still functional. This clasp's connecting hardware measure .75 inch each and has an unusual, rope design stamped pattern. This chain is bold and weighty, but light enough to wear. It is 1/4 inch ( 6mm ) thick.This chain was made by Monet and has a Monet stamp on the bottom of the fold over clasp.he gold plating is still in excellent condition.
