This dress is so incredibly timeless and chic: exactly the kind of piece you want to invest in, that you'll never tire of wearing. Made by Joseph Magnin in the 1960s, it's made of lustrous silk taffeta fabric, with a nipped waist, full skirt, and bracelet sleeves. I love the sweet lace trim at the V-neck shawl-collar and the cuffs. Joseph Magnin was a high-end speciality department store based in San Francisco, which became a leading US destination for luxury fashion following the second World War. This piece is so well made, as evidenced by the closure , featuring two columns of snaps down the skirt and a hook-and-eye closure at the waist.
Measurements: This will best fit a modern size XS-S
Shoulders: 14.75"
Chest: 36"
Waist: 26.5" (hook closures could be adjusted slightly to accomodate more room)

Great vintage condition, with some very minor wear to fabric and trim commensurate with age. With any questions about the specific condition or size, please email shop@verybreezy.com for additional photos or measurements.
