I love the honey brown shade of this mink: the color is so rich yet neutral, and the fur is in amazing condition. Circa 1950s, the construction here is amazing: rather than being cut from a single piece, the shoulders are fitted, with a pleat in the back creating structure. Bonus: it has pockets! The lining is silky, and it has a single hook front closure, which I appreciate because often vintage capelets don't have a closure. This was made in the 1950s by upscale Philadelphia furrier John Wanamaker, and the interior is monogrammed EPR.
