Another unintentionally gothic, but truly romantic piece. A unique slip dress featuring a withering entanglement of black ribbon rosettes sewn into lace netting; caging below it a layer of faintly pink silk. Like flies in a spider’s web, this dress’s design and coloring is reminiscent to me of Ricki Lake’s cockroach dress from Hairspray, but composed instead of heavy lacework.
