This is a lovely brilliant hot pink late 50s early 60s lace high low dress. The lace is backed in a pastel pink organza And the bodice is fully lined in a hot pink silk. The dress is simple with a fitted bodice, scoop neckline, and is sleeveless. The dress also has a hidden surprise. It has a matching pencil skirt that is attached (like a Belt) to the waist seam on the inside of the dress. The skirt is fun with a lot of volume and is gathered at the waist. The skirt hangs in a high low silhouette with 3" horsehair stiffening sewn in-between the lace organza to help give it a bell shape. It has a fantastic lace and organza ruffle that runs around the exterior skirt and gets longer in the back of the skirt. The skirt is made of the same materials as the dress, it falls past the knees and also has a large frilly ruffle at the hem. The skirt also has a very large slit up the back and is lined in the same hot pink silk. The dress tag is also on the inside of the skirt and is labeled Nan Duskin of Philadelphia. She was a wonderful designer that got her start in her 20s and had a store in Philadelphia till the 90s. Her designs were also sold by high-end stores like Saks and Bloomingdales. Her designs are stunning and the quality is so stunning and fine.

Condition:
The dress is in great condition overall with only one small flaw to note. There are two small patches on the silk lining on each underarm. They are no bigger than nickel and cannot be seen from the outside of the dress. The dress has been professionally hand laundered and is ready to wear.
