Rare vintage early 1960s dress and matching bolero by Alfred Shaheen. Lovely, high quality turquoise blue polished cotton with printed metallic gold and silver hibiscus flowers. The dress has a sculpted halter bodice that has boning and straps that button in back. The skirt is wrap/sarong style and closes on the side by looping the fabric through a buckle. The bodice back is ruched elastic. Back nylon zipper. The little bolero jacket has no closures in front. The color of this dress is a true turquoise.

Length: 43" / Bodice length from top of bust to waist seam is 10.5"

Condition: Near excellent. The fabric appears to be in brand new condition and is SO beautiful! There are a couple very faint lines of discoloration on the skirt front and back but I could only determine this under the bright studio lights (see last photo) Presents beautifully!
