The Matisse/Renoir companies were open for only a short time, but they had a huge effect on the jewelry industry. Suddenly copper was in! And enamel! You just had to have some of these pieces.

This bracelet is one of the less commonly found designs. It's a rhythmic interplay of strips with ends up--looking like staples, in other words. It's in good vintage condition with a lot of shine (but please study photos for age spots). It may be slightly off a perfect oval, but it looks great on your wrist and does just what it should do.
