Hold on to your hats, Vintage babes! This Vintage Midcentury Long Hostess Formal Dress straight out of a Mad Men Cocktail Party has too many fabulous attributes! Here we go; first of all ... its measurements would designate it as a size LARGE .. a rarity to find such a cool gown in a larger size! A 32 inch waist measurement almost made me fall off my chair! A Black faux button down top, beautiful rhinestone buttons I may add, with a back zip. The bodice is an overlay with a fantastic pleated placket, and the long sleeves are sheer and finish at a two snap cuff.

The skirt ... oh the skirt! A maxi in an amazing 1960s psychedelic print in black, white, gold with metallic silver thread! Think Laugh-In or Mad Men... a Draper cocktail party in the sunken livingroom. You'll be a hostess with the Mostest in this piece for sure! The dress wraps up into a neat little package courtesy of a wide black velvet bow belt at the waist. Its attached in front, slips through two loops a the sides and secures in back with hook and eyes.

Photographed on a US size 4/6 mannequin for reference, there is no makers tag, only one with lot number and a size 15.
