These vintage late 1950s to early 1960s jewelled heels are super steamy! The silhouette is similar to the iconic springolator, with its deep cut vamp, wide open toe and curving yet sturdy heel. Instead of the elastic instep panel, these have a curvy slingback. The toebox is adorned by a bar of 8 large emerald cut rhinestones. Ooh lala!
SIZE: Labeled 7 1/2 AA - I usually wear 7 1/2 B and I can get them on and walk around, but the toebox is snug. My spokesmodel is a 7B and they are a good fit for her.
Length, heel to toe, inside - 9. 75" (24. 75cm)
Width across widest part of sole - 3" (7. 5cm)
Heel height - 3. 5" (9cm)
MATERIAL/COLORS: Shiny surfaced black leather. The outer soles are leather painted black.
MAKER: French Room, Exclusively at Chandlers
CLOSURES: Adjustable white metal buckles on the slingback strap.
CONDITION: There is a 3/4" circular area on the inner toebox of the left shoe where the leather surface is cloudier - it looks like someone might have had a sticker attached there at some point. There are smaller areas of surface clouding on the outer toebox of the right shoe - see the photo where the two shoes are shown "stacked" for an look at both areas. The rhinestones are also cloudy, but they're all there! I also see some scuffing at the bottom back of the heels. Soles and heels are moderately worn.
