Decorate a table or wall, with this quaint Swedish-made piece in pastel tones...

This pullwork style embroidered piece hails from Sweden, and was most likely made around mid-20th century. The base is a soft white cotton weave, and many of the threads have been pulled and re-worked to create the pattern. Then, cotton thread floss is used to embroider a floral-theme design on top. This type of work is rare, and fine, and not seen much any more. Completely handmade, without maker's labels or marks. Overall condition is very good, with one end having lost a few of the woven base threads, as well as some grey color embroidery missing from same section. Please see photographs for full details.
