Still a rare find and in great condition. This very thick hand knit full wool sweater is highly collected and desired. If you want to stay warm this is your chance. Perfect for a walk on the beach on a cool summer evening or hiking a trail in winter and all in between.
This cowichan sweater is in very good vintage pre owned condition. There is no stains or rips or loose hems. There is some piling to be expected from pure wool. It just inevitable. I used to have an old electric leg shaver and used that on my thick sweaters. It worked pretty amazingly. Maybe a beard shaver also.. hmm gonna have to try that!
Thick heavy metal zipper is a bit sticky at where you insert but works well just a bit of patience. May be able to add some oil or WD40 to a swab and it may help it insert easier.
Its a large men's size but of course if you are like my girl she loves the huge men's sweaters over tights and some fur boots.
I have taken measurements flat back from seam to seam without any stretch so this is a minimal fit.
All are seam to seam so bust / chest , waist and hips need to be doubled.
