This is a large statement ring with a small finger size. The deep ruby red colored, cut glass measures .5 inch and was made to mimic a large ruby. The antiqued gold bezel holding the stone is .75 inch with a detailed open work flower petal pattern. The barred antiqued gold shaft of the ring is a size 5, which is a very small female size. The prongs holding the stone in seem to be strong and secure. These large rings with cut glass were commonly known as cocktail rings at the time. It is marked," 10K gold filled" next to a mark that is two tiny triangles with an ,"&" between them. The letters in the triangles appear to be a C and an O, but I can not tell!
