This is a fantastic vintage late 1950's to 1960's Enid Collins style handbag. I found the most wonderful grocery list (Beer, Bread, Milk!) and receipt inside dated 1959! It is made of a firm sided tan tweed burlap textured fabric that is lined with vinyl and has black vinyl nail head trim and black handles. The bottom is made of wood and it has a gold metal twist lock closure. The front is embellished with sequins, jewels and cabochon beads in a mid century modern butterfly pattern. It has 2 small inner pockets, one with a zipper and one without. It has a really nice size and weight for holding just about whatever you need. I will include the papers I found inside for your collection! It measures: 11" wide, 8" high (not including handles) and is 5 1/2" deep, with a 6 1/2" strap drop. Very Good condition, with minor wear, no issues.
