60's Sweet Cotton Pocket Apron$15.00
Feel instantly dainty when you tie on this lovely, vintage 1960's cotton apron!
Definitely homemade by some (most likely) house wife or lady to prettify herself during chores, this cotton fabric apron features deep, triple pocket sections trimmed in purple fabric, with the top edge accented with rick-rack (zig zag) trim -classically, late 50's/early 60's. Apron is delicately gathered into the wide waistband, which ties at back into a big, fluffy bow (ties have been finished with pinking sheers). However, the best feature of this lovely apron is the fabulous, intricate pattern; octagonal medallions with linear, floral themes, all in white, sky blue, sage green, sunny yellow and lilac purple colors! Condition is excellent, with the only flaw being an extremely faint line or mark just over (wearer's) left pocket stitch (see final pic).
All measurements taken on flat garment:
- 1 3/4" width waistband
- approx. 61" total waistband length including ties
- 19" across top apron section
- 28" across bottom apron section
