FEATURES: This 1950s copper and enamel brooch/earring set by Renoir carries the Matisse mark on both, and is in the "Laurel" design. The enameled portions have a foiled or crackled look. Brooch has a roll-over clasp; earrings are clip backs.

This set did not come together; I found them separately and have married them. There is a minute difference in the color of the enamel, but nobody will know!

SIZE: Brooch measures approx. 2 1/8" long x 1 7/8" across; earrings, about 1 3/16" high x 3/4" across.

CONDITION: Brooch is excellent: Clasp is tight, and the pin is straight and sturdy. Finish is intact, showing no wear. One leaf tip appears to be missing a wee bit at the top, but I can't tell if this was in the manufacturing or is a tiny chip. It's not noticeable unless you look for it. Earring backs show finish wear, but the fronts are excellent, and the clips are tight.
