Absolutely gorgeous moody dress by Claire McCardell, early 1950s. Navy blue cotton lace overlays and is trimmed by luscious plum satin. Wide scoop neck, thin satin tie. Side metal zip. Size small, see measurements for details.

Condition:
Very good vintage condition. On the shoulders, there are some small breaks in the lace. It looks like this dress has been altered a couple times but it's not terribly evident from the outside, and it's possible that the waist could be let out again to gain an extra inch.
