This was certainly someone's prized possession. Not only did they upgrade to the fancy gold polka dot lining but proudly had their name embroidered on it! It's a true classic and has been very well cared for.

Beautiful textured black Persian wool shell, thick and shiny natural fur trim, black velveteen lined pockets, wide sleeves, original hook & eye closures, and stand-up collar. A rare and authentic piece of American fashion history.

Condition: there is some minor wearing away of the wool on the bottom right sleeve. If I were keeping this coat I would likely treat the bald spots with black leather paint rendering the imperfection nearly invisible.
