1950s tooled leather peep toe sandals with ankle buckle closure. Leather appears to be hand tooled floral pattern and very possibly were a souvenir of travels to Mexico. The sandals have been worn and loved extensively. There is significant wear on the leather sole and on the leather upper, especially around the straps and buckle. The sole also shows some cracking. The right shoe would need a bit of glueing/repair before it can be worn as the leather is coming loose near the arch on the inside of the foot. Heals feel sturdy. Even with the condition issues they are charming and worthy of some restoration or as an addition to any vintage collection.
