Absolutely divine vintage early 1950's sundress and bolero jacket set. The fabric is a dark peachy coral color, it is a beautiful polished cotton with a very slight shantung texture. It features a fully boned and fitted bodice with halter neck tie and metal back zipper. It has a lovely full sweep with insane oversized pockets that have chartreuse green leaves and fuzzy green vine appliques. The matching jacket is cropped and fitted with an open front and stand up collar. The bodice is fully lined and structured beautifully. Jacket measures: 15" long shoulder to waist with an open front. Dress measures: 33" bust, 25" waist, full hips, 14" long shoulder to waist (approximate), 44" long shoulder to hemline, 100" circumference sweep. Excellent overall condition, little to no wear and structurally strong. The only flaw is the green fuzz on the vine of the right pocket is worn away and it is missing the original belt. Please note that clothing measurements are taken flat and doubled, unless otherwise noted. The bust is measured at the fullest part of the bodice, underarm to underarm, any pleats, darts, or formed cups are taken into consideration and measured to the nearest 1/4". Waist measurements are taken at the narrowest part of the natural waistline, empire waists are measures at the specific seam and noted as such. Hip measurements are taken from the circumference of the fullest area around the hip section. Overall length is measured from the top of the shoulder to the hemline, unless it is strapless then it will be noted where the measurement is taken from. Sleeves are measured from the top shoulder seam to the cuff unless otherwise noted. For the best fit you should measure a similar garment that fits you well and compare them against the posted measurements.
