Circa 50's SPARKLE LUCITE Myles Originals Handbag

This is Beautiful Sparkle Handbag with a Clear Carved Lid and Handle. The base is Sparkled with the Colors of: Pink, Green, and Pearly White. The Lid that is carved on the inside depicts a star shaped Flower with Leaves around it. The Handle is also carved on the inside and is Little Leaves. Although the label is missing (Their labels were clear stick on and many were lost over time.) it looks very much like a Myles Originals handbag with the three ball clasp. There are four small clear lucite feet on the bottom. You may see some shadows in the photographs. These are just from the sunlight, not the handbag condition.

Some History of the Myles Originals Handbags - Myles Originals Lucite Handbags by Artistic Display Company was the very first Lucite Handbag Manufacturer in Miami. Their first ad was in 1951 and their slogan was "the Tiffany of Lucite Handbags". In 1952 Myles Originals was taken over by Aberman Manufacturing Company and and they were then known as Myles Originals with a brand new slogan "The Ultimate in Lucite Handbags".
