Gorgeous 1950's cocktail dress in the style of a cheongsam. The dress has a red satin under layer with a black lace overlay. There are no tags, so the dress appears to be handmade. It has a 12" side zipper and nine snaps that close the front. All of the original snaps and hooks are intact. The size is similar to a contemporary Size 6, but the arm openings are somewhat small at 5. 5" across. Shoulder to shoulder measures 15", the length from shoulder to hem is 41", bust is 34", waist is 31" and hips are 36". The dress has two 6" side slits to make walking easier. There is a hole in the black lace under the left arm - shown in an image.
