Vintage 50s Pleated Chiffon Cocktail Dress

An exquisite vintage 50s-60s cocktail dress made of superior quality silk chiffon in cool ruby red. The dress has a fitted bodice, full gathered skirt and wide asymmetrical waistband. It features stunning mini-pleated chiffon at the bodice and waist, and an encrusted trim of sparkling rhinestones & tiny muted pink beads. The lining is made up of 2 layers - 1 layer of chiffon and 1 of rayon crepe, and closes with a rear metal zipper. The zipper is in perfect working condition - it’s partially unzipped because it’s a bit too small for the mannequin. This is a designer-quality piece, however there are no tags or labels to be found. CONDITION:

Very good condition. The dress is very well preserved with just a minor pull to the chiffon fabric of the skirt on the side - this is virtually invisible as it’s lost in the folds - see last pic.

No size tag. Best fits: XS (0-2 US / 4-6 UK)-->This is a size estimate. Please check measurements below to ensure proper fit.
