A very interesting bubble swimsuit from the 50s. The gathered bottom gives the swimsuit a look similar to the of play clothes of the 50s.

Royal blue pin-up style swimsuit has one adjustable shoulder straps that has two buttonholes and buttons in front, boned lined bodice has white piping and gathered into front panel, elastic bottom runs across front and around leg openings, back metal zipper has inside back placket, hook and eye, elastic back, lined crotch.

Measurement taken across front while flat then doubled where appropriate, please allow for fit and ease

Waist ~ 40" loose and great fit for a larger tummy

Length ~ 22 1/2" from top of bust on swimsuit to bottom of front elastic at legs.

Fabric has no stretch of its own, only on the bais.

Very good condition, elastic has all of its original stretch, zipper is in great condition, no stains or tears. I just imagined this type of bubble swimsuit would have more fit in the waistline, but it is quite loose.
