This late 1950s vintage dress has a lot going for it - cute print, silky fabric, extra large plus size, and never worn! Depending on your accessories and styling, you could wear this to the office or to a casual party. The bodice has an oversized notched collar with a flat bow at the base of the veeneck. It's gently shaped with tucks above the waist. The skirt is swingy, flared with nine gores. A self fabric belt cinches the waist.

FABRIC/COLORS: A fun print in turquoise, light blue and dark blue with a little black against a white background. Are they yin and yang? Atomic sperm? Stylized paisley motifs? Commas? Whatever they are, there are multiple variations on the theme, and the overall effect is quite charming. The fabric is medium weight, with that silky feel that I associate with rayon, but the cardboard hangtag identifies the fabric as Ponaco, a proprietary blend of acetate and cotton. The dress is described as hand washable, always a plus.

CLOSURES: The dress closes in front with five small dark blue plastic buttons on a placket that extends to 8" below the waist. A pair of snaps secures the waist and the bodice top.

CONDITION: New old stock, never worn, with hangtags still attached, and no flaws noted.
