Finish your fancy 50's look with this classic pearlized clutch bag...

These lucite bags from the 1950's were a very popular South Florida accessory! They seem to have been the souvenir to acquire when visiting the Sunshine State -and that's exactly where I found this little gem.

It is made of an off white or ivory color hard plastic, lucite, material and features feminine, rounded edges -which also add comfort for holding in one's hand. The closure is a large circle shape of lucite, that curves delicately over the edge and has a small lift at the end for ease of opening. The actual locking mechanism is just a small gold metal brad that fits snugly into a divot in the lucite roundel. Interior of bag has no maker's marks or other details to note. The overall condition is good, with optimal functionality but some minor aging and surface issues; some areas of crazing/cracking to lucite interior layer at front of bag, just left of the closure roundel, then some light spotting throughout -again, just below the surface of the lucite, a shallow crack can be observed at side section of interior, as well as some minor staining at interior corners. I've done my best to photograph all these issues. Please review photographs for details.
