Circa 50's CASHMERE Sweater with a Blond MINK Collar

This is a Gorgeous 1950's Cream Cashmere Sweater with a Blonde Mink Collar. It closes at the bottom with a hook and eye positioned right at the end of the Mink Collar and another closure at the very bottom that is silver tone with a pearl like decoration and center rhinestones. The sleeve hems are cuffed and have little pearl like closures with a tiny center rhinestones. The inside is lined first with a sheer lining and then with a lace lining on all except the sleeves. It is just as Pretty on the inside as on the Outside. This Beautiful Blonde Mink Collar can be Worn with many of Your other items.

A Little History of the B. Altman Luxury Department Store - It was founded in 1865 and their flagship store was located at 5th Avenue and 34th Street directly across from the Empire State Building in Mid Town Manhattan. The label is located under both linings.

The bust, width of sleeve at hem, and hem width all have some stretch.

Near MINT Condition - This lovely is in near MINT Condition. It does have two small foibles. On the left sleeve back near the cuff there is a dark colored spot and one very small spot on the left just below the shoulder (see photographs #8 and #9).
