No size marked; measures as a 7 1/4. There are several web sites out there that will assist you in determining your hat size; you just need a flexible measurement tape and you can consult their size charts after you know your head size. Hat measures 8" in inside diameter front to back , 6. 5" inner diameter side to side, brim is 2. 5" wide and height of crown is 3. 5". Fabric is genuine straw with ribbon hatband and leather sweatband. Marked "Cornell '53". Excellent condition with no damage. True color is natural straw with lavender hatband. Even though this is daed 1953 it could be used for an older costume as this style goes back to at least the 1910s'

**A note on measurements: I like to give measurements on items rather than a numerical size as I find this to be a much more precise way of determining size. If the garment I have measures the same as a garment you have, you can be assured of a good fit. If you have any questions about how I did the measuring just email! PS don't forget YOU must measure at least 1-2 inches smaller than the garment does for comfort! :)
