The shallow, flat crown has a rounded top and sides that curve down to just above the ears. The beaded floral designs are accented with tiny springs of mocha velvet ribbon. The mocha grosgrain band inside the hat's crown matches these velvet ribbons, and you can see the threads that attach the beading, from the inside only, on the ivory taffeta lining. This sweet 1950s ivory hat is in very good, near excellent condition, with one very tiny and faint mark on the crown see close-up photo.
