50’s Cotton Dress Green Yellow Print Full Skirt$70.00
This 1950s cotton dress has an Impressionist-style, abstract print in shades of yellow, green and blue. The fitted, cap sleeve bodice has a V neckline trimmed with white floral lace, and dotted with tiny, prong-set rhinestones. The flared skirt is fairly full, but not extremely so (it could accommodate a small crinoline underneath, but not a larger one). The lightweight cotton fabric is unlined, and the dress fastens with a metal side zipper. The skirt has a single pocket in one side seam. This sweet 1950s day dress is in excellent to mint condition, appearing basically unworn. A versatile fit-and-flare style, the dress can be worn on the hottest summer days, right through the fall and winter, with addition of a cardigan and tights.
