50’s Gray Two Tone Color Block Silk Dress$85.00
Gorgeous medium-weight navy blue and silver-gray color block dupioni silk dress.
Dupioni silk is a lustrous and crisp silk fabric with pronounced irregular ribs formed by slubbed yarns.
The front of the bodice features wide alternating navy blue and silver-gray color block stripes as pictured. There is also a front navy blue peplum.
The back of the bodice and skirt are solid silver-gray silk.
Fitted and darted bodice and wiggle skirt with a 6" center back walking slit.
The entire dress is lined with soft lightweight satin (probably acetate).
Does up the center back with a long metal zipper.
DESIGNER LABEL: There are no labels and this appears to be the work of a skilled seamstress or tailor.
CONDITION: Excellent. There is no discoloration, fading, snags, picks, holes, stains, rips, or other issues. The only thing is a very slight storage odor which should come out when dry cleaned.
Gently worn and very well cared for.
SIZING: There are no size tags. Based on the measurements below, I'd say this would best fit a modern size Medium to smallish Large.
