Dating from the late 1950's to early 1960's. Fabric is a lightweight silk in a gold color. Faux wrap bodice with a high empire style waist in the front and regular waist in the back. Gathered bust with a half belt which closes in the back with metal snaps. Form fitting style closing in the back with a long metal zipper. Front side welt pockets on each side. Short cap sleeves with underarm gussets. Completely lined with a gold acetate.

Only one condition. Very light spotting on the left side near the hem. I have photographed this closely. Otherwise excellent condition.

Label is Branell which was a high-end maker of dresses, suits and coats designed in New York by Hilda Altmark.

No size is indicated so please check the measurements carefully. There is no give to this fabric.
